The latte I had (Caffè Latte $5.25) smelled good and was quite rich but neither too bitter nor too sour!
The coffee is not cheap but it is much better than Starbucks’.
Also, the service here was not bad and the place as a whole was greatly protected from the corona virus. It’s inevitable because of the protection but it was disappointing that I could not drink the coffee inside the cafe—This led me to think the coffee was overpriced:(
Overall, this place is recommended if you want to have a quality cup of coffee: as the cafe seemed to be beautifully designed you could enjoy spending time inside without the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, if you take prices seriously, this place is not the one you should always go to.
It was my first time to have a cup of coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee although there are some branches in Japan—the places in Japan are too popular to have a cup of coffee as I googled. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks at Blue Bottle Coffee in Japan didn’t seem to be the same as that here in SF. No matter how bad they are rated in Japan, what I experienced was quite great!
One good thing about this place was that I could use a credit card—not many cafes in japan accept a credit card.
