Saiwaii is located in a hub of a bunch of really great restaurants, so expect it to be busy. My group was lucky to have gotten here early to avoid an exceedingly long wait, but around 6:30 PM a line started to form. Note they don't have a waiting area, so you may have to stand outside during your wait.
Menu is pretty large compared to most traditional ramen houses and I'm not complaining! They have a great variety of ramen and side dishes. Most of which are rooted from traditional Japanese cuisine and some are a bit more creative.
I tried the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and was super happy with my choice. It wasn't overly spicy and the broth was creamy and flavorful. However, I didn't get a good garlic taste from it. The pork cutlets were a little too thick for my liking, but they were still somewhat tender and packed flavor. Noodles were cooked to perfection!
Ramen here is delicious but could use some minor improvements. Will definitely be back!
