I ordered the Tan Tan Spicy Miso and thought the spiciness level was just right. The broth was really flavorful and not too salty, but the noodles could've been cooked a bit more al dente. This is one thing I really like about Ippudo: they allow you to customize the done-ness of your ramen; not so here. I thought the fried bits of shaved carrots in the dish were really tasty. Good texture to contrast everything else in the ramen. It reminded me a lot of terra chips.
Also, I had takoyaki fries: these were plain fries with takoyaki sauce on them, there's no actual takoyaki in this at all which makes it a bit overpriced for what it is.
Off the drink menu, I ordered a bottle of the miso sparking sake and thought it was really pleasant to drink. If you're not somebody who enjoys the taste of alcohol, you will love the miso.
Overall, I had a really good meal at Nojo. Would come back again if I were in the neighbourhood. Mensho is still my favorite ramen place in the city.

I finally decided to try this place with my boyfriend on a Saturday night and we were able to snag a table through the waitlist!
The waitress was so nice and kept us informed constantly. We got the Chicken Paitan Soy Sauce (the last one for the night!) and the Chicken Paitan Tan-Tan Spicy Miso. Both were really rich but so delicious. The noodles had great texture.
For apps, we got the rice ball with pork belly. SO GOOD! I can eat a million of them. We also got wings that we felt were a little salty.
I would def come back to try their veggie miso or another broth!
