I love this little ramen spot! I came here with a friend on a whim, and I ended up really liking the ramen.
Ichiraku has 3 different types of tonkostu ramen: tonkotsu warrior, black garlic tonkotsu warrior, and red garlic tonkotsu warrior. I ordered the red garlic while my friend ordered the black garlic. Both broths were flavorful, but I think I liked the red garlic more. The bowls had an ample amount of toppings and I was really happy with the soft boiled egg and the chasu.
Service was super friendly and they didn't even try to kick us out when we chatted at our table for a while!

Though they offer limited menu (regular tonkotsu, black garlic tonkotsu, and red garlic tonkotsu as far as ramen goes), I enjoyed the opportunity to try more than one at once because they offer small servings in addition to regular ones.
They're simply different takes on the same core tonkotsu (pork broth) ramen bowl, only that the black garlic has, well, black garlic oil, while the red garlic is spicier. For me, the black garlic was deliciously savory - creamy, almost - while the red garlic did have a spicier kick to it, so much so that I did break out in a sweat, but definitely not so much that my mouth was burning or that I was gasping for water.
If you're here with others, the gyoza and takoyaki are worth sharing too. All in all, sometimes it's nice to visit a place that has a small menu because you know that they're confident about doing everything well.
